Welcome, for-purpose friend. We’re so happy you made it this far.

Charity Case, the corporate social responsibility program of Griffin Creative, provides a Houston-area for-purpose start up the branding it needs to get off the ground and on its way to success. Every year, Griffin works with a new nonprofit to give it a look and feel that appeals to donors, volunteers and constituents alike.

After spending 26 years working with some of Houston’s most revered companies, Griffin has decided it’s time to give back to the community using their talents. As Houston’s first non-profit, pro-bono design collaboration program, Charity Case is ensuring budding nonprofits do well right from the start, breaking through and fitting in with the 17,000 other 501c(3)s who call this city home.

What does it take to be our partner, you ask? Well, all nonprofits must:

  • Be a recognized 501c(3) organizaton
  • Have a board of directors
  • Be located in the greater Houston area
  • Be in operation for 2 or less years
  • Have an operating budget under $60,000

Saying, “YEAH. THAT’S ME!” You’re in the right place. Now, we know what you’re wondering. “What do ‘design services’ constitute? What am I really getting out of this thing?”

When you’re Griffin’s partner, you get everything and anything design related. This can include:

  • A logo
  • Designed collateral (business cards, stationary, etc.)
  • A website
  • Digital graphics (social media, e-newsletter, etc.)
  • Event graphics
  • Brand guidelines

What it DOESN’T include are needs like printing, copy writing, website programming, photography, etc. Those are outside costs. But not to worry, Griffin has community partners who will provide discounts on these services.

Into it? Like, REALLY into it? Here’s what’s next:

YOU: Fill out the form below by November 15 and send us your 501c(3) documentation, letters of incorporation and references. (The references are not required, but they sure would help you!)

WE: Make selections of our top three nonprofits

YOU: Come in for a top-three interview (if selected)

WE: Internally vote and reach out to our selected nonprofit by the end of the year

YOU: Work alongside us from January of next year all the way to December 31.
